As part of Mednet’s TTM service, we staff certified technicians 24/7 for patients to call at anytime for either routine checks or symptomatic calls. Patients love the ease of use, convenience of staying home for their pacemaker checks and having a friendly technician on the phone to ask questions or help guide their session.
Mednet staffs over 60 certified professionals to help accommodate your clinic’s patient load. Our TTM team shares the workload from those that talk to the patients up to the senior Quality Assurance group that validates reports. Some of our talented technicians have NASPE certification, but all our technicians are nationally certified, extensively trained in pacemakers and participate in continuous on site training. We at Mednet take training very seriously and offer many courses and seminars to our TTM staff.
All reports go through Quality Assurance by our management team prior to distribution. The most efficient delivery of reports is through our secure on-line Mednet Access website. Reports are available for review within 24 hours of receipt. Any STAT reports are completed and posted within one hour. Depending on your physician notification criteria, we will call you, page you, fax you or notify you per your instructions. Mednet wants to easily fit into your practice and we want to give you options that best suit your needs. You can choose how to receive and review TTM reports and your notification criteria. We work with you to give you what you need. All reports are clear and precise, use NASPE and AHA universal language and include trending and patient tracking.
We schedule patient telephone appointments when convenient for your patients. Plus, any emergency symptomatic transmissions can be phoned in 24/7 with immediate medical response.
Universal Medical, a division of Mednet, manufactures our own pacemaker transmitter, the PaceTrak™ series, eliminating the need for patient waiting lists. When you partner with Mednet, we are able to start monitoring your patients quickly and efficiently with instant enrollment. We ship transmitters directly to your patients at no charge, work with patients to obtain proper insurance qualification and help to train patients on transmitter usage. All you need to do is enroll your clinic and your patients and let Mednet take care of the rest.
We also offer automated billing, you can choose to bill your patient’s insurance for the professional component and we will bill for the technical component. If you prefer, we also offer full interpretation of TTM reports by a board certified electrophysiologist at Mednet who will bill the professional component if you choose not to do the interpretation and billing.
