Mednet Healthcare Technologies, Inc. was established in 1989 by Frank Movizzo. Frank saw a need in the market place for a service company that would provide customer-oriented service around the clock in order to offer the best care for patients who needed non-invasive, remote cardiac monitoring. The business started out small with just a handful of energized, committed and ingenious employees in a small commercial office. This first service portion of the company began as “Heartcare Corporation of America.”

Over the years, the company expanded to include the manufacturing of cardiac monitoring devices and software under the name “Universal Medical Incorporated.” This leg of the business boomed as a need for reliable, cost-effective diagnostic monitors and monitoring systems became apparent. Once again, Frank’s drive and commitment to excellence answered the call.

Today, both areas of the company are combined under one name, Mednet. We are a nationally known IDTF (Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility) with headquarters in Ewing, New Jersey, just outside of Trenton, the state capital. We are staffed 24/7 by certified cardiac technicians and employ over 150 employees nationwide. Over the years we have gained the trust of over 8,000 physicians from hundreds of hospitals. In fact, seven of the top 10 heart hospitals as ranked by U.S. News and World Report utilize Mednet.*
